UK fundamentals are live for 674 London-listed companies
Financial Datasets Team · 3 min read

Financial Datasets now serves UK company fundamentals. Income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial metrics for 674 companies listed on the London Stock Exchange are available through the same endpoints as US data. Add market=UK to a request, or pass the company's ISIN, and the data comes back in the same JSON shape you already use.
Why
Until now the API covered US companies only. Shell, HSBC, AstraZeneca, Unilever, Rolls-Royce, and hundreds of other companies with their home listing in London were not there. Agents and researchers who build on the API asked for them, and asked for the home-market numbers: the London ticker, the currency the company reports in, and the statements the company actually published. The UK is the first non-US market. More markets are coming.
How to pull UK fundamentals
A UK ticker together with market=UK names the company. UK tickers keep the spelling the exchange prints, so Rolls-Royce is RR. with the trailing dot. UK companies report once a year, so use period=annual.
import requests
headers = {"X-API-KEY": "your_api_key_here"}
url = (
"https://api.financialdatasets.ai/financials/income-statements"
"?ticker=RR.&market=UK&period=annual&limit=3"
)
response = requests.get(url, headers=headers)
for statement in response.json()["income_statements"]:
print(f"{statement['report_period']} {statement['currency']} revenue={statement['revenue']:,.0f} net_income={statement['net_income']:,.0f}")2025-12-31 GBP revenue=21,207,000,000 net_income=5,841,000,000 2024-12-31 GBP revenue=18,909,000,000 net_income=2,521,000,000 2023-12-31 GBP revenue=16,486,000,000 net_income=2,412,000,000
If you know the ISIN, pass it on its own. No ticker or market is needed.

Amounts are in the currency the company reports in. Most UK companies report in pounds sterling. Some, such as Shell, HSBC, and BP, report in US dollars, and a few, such as Unilever, report in euros. The currency field on each statement tells you which.
To see which UK companies are covered, filter any statement endpoint's tickers list by market. Each listing carries the ticker, the company name, the ISIN, and whether the company is still listed.

The UK fundamentals guide walks through all three statements, financial metrics, and the as-reported routes with full examples.

- 674 UK companies, including 95 of the FTSE 100 (the other five are investment trusts), with annual reports since fiscal 2021.
